A *New Release* Peek Through the Window

Who you are: Hello everyone. My name is Peggy Jaeger and I writer romantic comedies, romantic suspense books and contemporary romances about strong women, the families who support them, and them who can’t live without them. I live in beautiful New England in a house in the wood with my hero hubby and a year old Chocolate Labrador named Maple. And I’m about to become a grandmother for the first time!!! My daughter is expecting her first baby sometime in late September.
Interests beside writing. Well, have you go an hour?? Hee hee. No, really. I love all things visual and creative. When I’m not writing or when I’m between books and trying to come up with a new idea I paint, I rehab and decoupage old steamer trunks, and sometimes I even knit.
Network or support system. I am a member of RWA and my local Chapter ( the sisters I never had, biologically). I belong to too many Facebook writing groups to name here – again, you’d need that hour to get through them all. In a former life I was  a registered nurse with a Master’s degree in Geriatric psychology. And the older my parents get, the more I am using what I learned while achieving that degree.
Desk description. In a world: Nuclear. I am one of those strange people who thrive in chaos and my desk exemplifies this. I refuse to show you a picture because you just might call HOARDERS and report me.
Outrageous talent. I can make the sound of a horse. Here, let me prove it. Watch this: 
Window what’s outside yours? The beautiful woods where I live. I can watch the seasons change without anything blocking my view of the trees and forest. It is truly a gift to live here.

Were you close with your sister?” Aiden asked.
Not the way we should have been. Not at the end.
“We had a sizable age difference between us. Almost ten years. I was the big sis. The oldest.” Her lips trembled when she pulled them into a sad line. Rolling her eyes she added, “The bossy one, according to her. She was the baby and took full advantage of her status from the moment she realized it.”
“And rightly so.” The corners of his eyes crinkled. “I’m the youngest of my brothers and I’ll can tell you with one hundred percent honesty, my oldest brother is the bossiest one of us. I think it comes with birth order. Although he takes his so called right uber-seriously. Especially at work.”
This time her grin was steadier.  “What kind of business do you all own together?”
“We a run a private security company.”
“Security?”
“Personal bodyguards, if a client needs protection from something. Background checks for employers. Mostly we do investigations.”
“What, like private eyes? Like on television?”
He laughed. “Nothing so glamorous. The fast cars and hot babes are all fantasy. It’s a lot of boring research, computer work, and surveillance, but yeah, you could say I’m a private eye.”
Lexi’s entire mood turned on his words. The sorrow flew, the hurt dissolved. Even her nervous trivia-speak went dormant. She sat bolt upright, her knees bumping against the tabletop when she shifted. Excitement shot from her system as she turned her body, placed a hand across his forearm and declared, “Oh, my God. You’re the answer to my prayers.”
