It's Release Day for Kisa, Shield-Mates of Dar.

Thank you for stopping by! I'm so excited to release Kisa. She's the second book in my Shield-Mates series and my seventh published work. I enjoyed writing about her. She's quite complicated as most middle children can be. Often she's underestimated because of her appearance. She's small and cute. If you remember in Felice, her sister refers to her as a fluffy white house cat just to tease her like sisters often do. But Kisa is so much more. One of my favorite scenes is with her father...
“They will underestimate you because of your appearance. At first, it will be a trial, but in time, you will know how to wield that to your benefit.”
“I understand.” A sly smile grew. Kisa and her cat loved a good game.
“Sweet and gentle is what they will think, especially injudicious people.” He pointed at her. “Do not let them see that smile until it is time.”
As the holder of the magic of Dar, he felt the Lynx, who lived in Kisa, purr and rise just below the surface. Her cat enjoyed his praise, too. 
As you read her story, you'll see she is honorable, a diplomat, and a fantastic strategist. She's also passionate, loving, and the caretaker to not only her family but her country. But like everyone she's often frustrated, angry and wants to run her own life.  She also has a bit of a mischievous streak. I hope you enjoy reading Kisa.
