Now without further yada yada pull up a chair, pour a beverage, let your worries and cares go for a few minutes. Oh, we haven't done this for a while so lets put our imagination cap on. No matter where you are, try to picture a campfire. Listen, do you hear the children laughing and giggling? Someone has the grill going and whatever it is smells amazing. A couple of sites over a fellow is playing guitar. Are you there yet? Okay, here's a little help.

Camping in Lancaster is one of our favorites. This year we went full circle. In 1998 Pete, my son R.J., and I camped at the Mill Bridge Campground in Ronks, Pa. We returned 24 years in our 5th Wheel. It's a tiny camp tucked away in Lancaster County. Being so late in the fall (for camping anyway in the Mid-Atlantic) one of the hazards was the raining acorns and walnuts. When a stiff breeze blew, people ducked and covered. Sounds of them bouncing off of campers or crunching under tires was a new experience for us. Hali was enthralled by the horse and buggies when we took her out for rides.
Some antiquing at cackleberryfarmantiquemall.com/ scored me a couple of owlish decorations and vintage Christmas stuff for Pete.
Breakfast at the Agape Café a particular treat. Don't tell Pete's doctor he had the stuffed French Toast. Check out the website at agapecafeandgrille.com/ followed by a train ride via the Strasberg Railroad was fun and relaxing. We met a wonderful family from Indiana who were camping nearby as well.
The trip wouldn't have been complete without a trip to reallancastercounty.com/local-eats/local-pa-dutch/zooks-homemade-chicken-pies/ where we picked up some tasty treats and then off to reallancastercounty.com/shops/food-fresh-healthy-natural-organic-seasonal/local-dairies/lapp-valley-farm-dairy-ice-cream/
We grabbed vanilla, coffee and some pumpkin pie ice cream.
The Green Dragon Market is only open on Fridays. Now with retirement we were able to go. So much to see and taste. www.greendragonmarket.com/

One of my random thoughts is about Christmas. So many folks are worried about giving gifts with so much product stuck on a boat somewhere. I remember one of my son's friends many years ago was asked by the local newspaper what he remembered about his favorite Christmas. Guess what? It wasn't wrapped under the tree. His best memory was walking in the snow with his family. This was a twelve year old boy. Several years ago DH and I began a new tradition with our son, his wife and our grands. Instead of toys that break or clothes they grow out of we decided to give memories. Each year they receive a family gift of a camping gift card. So far they've been to Gettysburg, Texas and Tennessee. They don't have a camper yet so stay in the camp cabins. For birthday's they get complimentary gifts like a fishing pole or sleeping bag. As a family they now have the camping bug and will be buying a camper in the near future. Let me tell you the joy we get from the pictures they send or the phone calls about what fun they are having are priceless and could never come from a box.
So, are you looking for a gift and wondering what to do? Look around you. What experience and memories can you give? Does she want a horse but lives in a city? How about looking for a nearby stable that offers lessons. Does he like trains? Is there a train station that offers scenic tours?
Stuff gets old and broken. Clothes get torn and grown out of. Memories last forever.
Tell me about one of your favorite memories or experiences you've gifted someone.

Joy has something very pure and innocent about it. Jazz House is under contract! Whoot! Whoot! It's been a long time coming. I'll keep you posted of any developments. Now let's light the fire.

D. V.'s Glamping Must Haves
To be a true glamper there are things that have to be on every trip, at least for me. My list does vary depending on season and destination but I'm never without the following

Coffee. I have many fallbacks in case of emergency. Yep the regular drip pot is always ready to go. But what if there's no electricity? The old blue and white ceramic stovetop Corning pot is ready to roll, or perk. Sometimes while traveling I get the hankering for a cuppa. Purchasing coffee on the road can go many ways from great to awful. This is where the French Press comes in. Boil the water on the gas stove, pour it into the grounds, stir, wait (or go potty) and press. Voila! Delicious every time.

Books. There's a Kindle app in my phone and before we head out I make sure a couple of books are down loaded. You never know when you will have cell or Wi-Fi. Sitting around the fire late into the night reading is one of my favorite pastimes. There's also a few physical books waiting just in case.

Speaking of sitting around the fire, sometimes it just won't light. Wood is damp or the campfire sprites are mischievous, you never know. In my tool box is a propane torch, yep, I cheat. Fire up that puppy and snap, crackle, flame.

Misc. other always haves. Hubby, because who else is going to back up the 41' behemoth and get rid of spiders? Hali, my doggo, because she's adorable.

These are a few of my must haves on any trip. What do or would you find necessary?

We had a lovely time the past week traveling. First off we hit Seneca Falls, NY. Hubby's favorite question is, "Why did we go to Seneca Falls?" If any of you know his birthday is December 6th, which is also St. Nicholas Day. My sister and I up until the the pandemic were fans of the Finger Lakes Wine Festival in Watkins Glen NY. After the first couple of times, instead of doing shots of wine in the tents, knew what our favorites were. We'd grab a bottle (or two) from those wineries and head over to the park for the live music and food trucks. So, my designated driver, Pete, brought me to a few of my favorites. Not because I like owls, well I do but for this conversation it's not important what is, is the Thirsty Owl Wine Company has a great selection. My favorite is Snow Owl. Here's the link if you want to check them out. www.thirstyowl.com/
We also visited Swedish Hill Winery, I love the Riesling at swedishhill.com/our-locations/swedish-hill-winery/
and finally Miles Wine Cellars has a white called Ghost Wine AND a ghostly history.
mileswinecellars.com/ I'm sipping a glass of this at the time of this writing.

After visiting the museum and area we drove over to Vermont. If you follow me you know my rig is called 2HOOTS. Yep, many of us name not only the camper but the truck. Our truck I call Beast or "mine" when hubby and I have a good natured argument about whose name is on the pink slip. Silly man, trucks are for girls. Back to the topic.

She's a 5th wheel. That means the hitch is in the bed of the truck not pulled by a pin behind. Think like a tractor-trailer. What that does for us is give a more stable type of tow. 5th Wheels don't tend to sway. They do however "Porpoise". Think how a porpoise swims the surface in an up and down movement.

Having a "fiver", another nick name for it, also gives a lot more room. Since hubby and I plan not only to travel but are looking to Snowbird in Florida we need space. Especially nice is 2Hoots has a bunkhouse. This doubles as my office when there are no grandkids sleeping in the bunks. It also has a tiny extra bathroom attached to it. I can shut the door to the main living area and disappear into my author world.

What else besides being a camper/winter home/office is she? Also the guest house and Lifeboat. She is always ready to hit the road or accommodate overnight guests. 2HOOTS has also been our sanctuary when the lights go out as they are apt to do often in Northern NJ. Sometimes for days and even a week or so. We have a small generator that will run everything but the air conditioners. If you live in the country and aren't hooked up to town or city water, no power, means no H2O.

We returned recently from Cape May, NJ for the annual N.J. State Firefighters Convention and will be heading soon to Seneca Falls, NY. My DH is a Christmas fanatic. (He was born on St. Nicholas Day) Seneca Falls is the inspiration for a classic holiday movie. Can you guess which one? If you know put it in the comments and I'll draw a name from the correct answers for a prize. After spending a few days we're off to Vermont and camping with friends. Our last trip is to Lancaster, PA, one of our favorite haunts. The fall foliage should be amazing for these outings.
If we don't get a spot in Florida this year the sad day will come when we have to winterize the big girl. But August rolled in and we rolled out. Local for us. We visited one of our favorites nearby campgrounds the Pocono/Delaware Water Gap KOA koa.com/campgrounds/delaware-water-gap/
We had a great spot tucked in the trees on a good size site. I had a few projects and one of them was to hang my newly acquired "Owl" curtains. They needed to be shortened and then hemmed. I'm not a sewer but thank goodness for DH. He'd gone to the store to pick up some thread and a needle (I said I don't sew!) and returned with not only what I asked for but double sided hemming tape. My hero!
One of the reasons we enjoy the Poconos are the many things to do. On Saturday morning we got up had a bit of breakfast then headed to Saylorsburg for the flea market blueridgefleamarket.com/
We wandered the lanes and checked out lots of things. I was searching for an owl lamp. Pete is always looking for antique Christmas items for his display. We didn't find anything so headed to Wind Gap indoor flea market www.facebook.com/windgapfleamarket/ Again didn't find any treasure but will be going back again in the fall. The market is undergoing some major renovations and we're excited to see the end result.
Lunch followed with a visit to Sorrenti www.sorrentifamilyestate.com/ for some brick oven pizza and Sangria then into the winery for a tasting and a few purchases.
The rest of the time was spent visiting with friends and the grands. They just returned from a camping trip to Tennessee.

We had been scheduled to go to Wisconsin a few days later but an unexpected expense arose. Last year if you remember, we had an axel fire. PSA GREASE THOSE BEARINGS CAMPERS! We'll it turns out the equipment the emergency repair shop installed was incorrect. Enough said, we're pursuing action. However the cost of replacing everything sank out plans and with the cost of gas topping out again, we decided to stay close. Folks don't think you have to travel far. There are treasures in your own backyard. With one of our other favorite local camps filled we tried a new to us. Panther Lake Camping Resort pantherlakecampingresort.com/
was able to accommodate us. Despite the weather reports we didn't have any rain until Sunday. Saturday we hiked the rails to trails. Afterward I enjoyed cooking over the fire and to our surprise just across the way from us one of Pete's fire department friends was camping. We spent a night around the campfire catching up. It did rain on Sunday so we went to a few local antique shops and found a few things. Special shout out to Grey Barn Antiques and Collectables www.greybarnantiques.com/ It was there we not only talked fantasy books and dragons but found the makings of an owl lamp. (Pete's crafty like that) and a plaque. The rest of the day, thanks to being a glamper, we watched a DVD the Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. Though it says it's for the whole family I caution about younger campers. Twas a bit violent. We played cards and dominoes and still managed to get in a walk.

So my camping and non camping friends, when you're looking for something to do check out what's available in your own backyard. Thank you for joining me today at the campfire. While I grab some refreshments why don't you tell us if you're a camper and if not, about your favorite adventure. What can I grab while you do that?
I love wine!
Wonderful! The camper is always well stocked. Often while we're camping we check out the local wineries. I'll pour while you dish on your adventures.
I have never camped in my life, nor do I ever plan to. I am decidedly not an outdoor gal. My favorite vacation was a trip my husband and I took driving up the California coast. We visited lots of wineries-yay! We had a memorable dinner at Half Moon Bay where it was pumpkin season. The sight of fields full of pumpkins stayed with me and found its way into my latest book.

No worries about not being an outdoor gal. I once put on a show for my neighbors as I stomped around my yard yelling at the top of my lungs, "I hate outside." It was a spider incident. But enough of that, I love when life inspires a story. So tell us about your latest project.
The title of my book is Pie á la Love. It is the third in what I’m calling my Just Desserts series. Each is a standalone. The characters and settings don’t overlap. The common theme is that each one includes a dessert. I started planning the quartet last Christmas when my sister was visiting. She is the one who came up with the title. Then I had to figure out a plot around that title. My husband is a proud Army veteran, so he suggested the hero should be a veteran. The heroine is the head of a social service agency who is a micromanager, something I have been accused of. The heat level, as in all my books, is strictly G-rated. The genre is sweet romance.

Sounds um, delicious? LOL, sorry I couldn't help my self. What a great premise. An your sister deserves a toast for coming up with the title. Also, thanks to your husband for his service. What are you working on now?
I’m working on the fourth book now. The title is Cookie Courtship. I guess that gives away what the dessert is. I expect to publish it on or around November 1.

Please let me know when it gets closer so we can remind everyone. Do you have a tagline or life motto?
My husband has had a several health problems and hospitalizations this past year, and my motto has become “one day at a time.”

Our prayers for continued healing and health for him. Would you like to give a shout-out to anyone or their books?
I would like to give a shout-out to Craig Martelle and all the members of the Facebook group 20Books to 50K. They are so very generous in sharing what works for them and what doesn’t in the business of being a writer.

I'm definitely going to check them out. In the meantime can you give us a Life Hacks for Authors. Do you have any tips, tricks, or anything you specialize in that you would share with others?
I wish I did. I have a long history of learning things the hard way. I’ll happily accept any tips and tricks your readers can send my way.

Now the fun questions
1. If they made a movie about your life, what would the title be, and who would play you?
The title would be “It’s Never Too Late to Be Who You Might Have Been.” Playing me would be Ruth Gordon, who acted well into her 70s. I published my first romance at age 67.
2. Do you have a special object like a piece of jewelry or keepsake of some sort? Can you tell us what makes it special to you?
I have my late mother’s wedding and engagement rings. I wear them whenever I’m facing a particular challenge and need to feel closer to her.
3. Years ago, there was a commercial that talked about a “Kodak Moment.” It’s a moment in time you catch in a picture. One you never want to forget. What is yours?
My moment would be standing on stage at the Three Rivers Art Festival in Pittsburgh with two of my insurance company coworkers performing an hour’s worth of Broadway songs. It was our first and only performance together. We brought bags of hats and props with us to transform ourselves from Cockney flower girls to Russian peasants to Hot Box Girls to Puerto Rican seamstresses. It was one of those "flow" times when an hour goes by in an instant.
4. If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I adore Stephen Sondheim and would love to hear “Beautiful Girls” from Follies every time I walked into a room. His lyrics are so brilliant. The internal rhymes are killer: “Beauty celestial, the best, you'll agree” and “Faced with these Loreleis, what man can moralize?”
5. Did you ever win something? What?
I used to enter a lot of recipe contests. Once, I won a trip to New York City to take a class at a culinary school. My winning entry was the Simon Sandwich, named after the American Idol judge. French’s was the sponsor, and one of the ingredients was their mustard which was “as sharp as Simon’s tongue.” Writing skills can be used in all sorts of ways.

How fun was that? Fran thanks so much for popping by even though we're outside I hope you enjoyed yourself. One more request? Please leave a bit about your Pie á la Love and others in the series. Tena and I are both Fivers and have talked about me heading out west so we can meet in person over an actual campfire not the virtual one. Recently, I corresponded with another author who invited me to visit her. Let me tell you, when you get a pair or a group of writers together the discussions are amazing. After all these are your "tribe". Creative minds who love to discuss books, writing, editing, social media and how they wrangle all that and their family, friends, and often, outside jobs. Toss in someone who also shares your passion for traveling and adventure, BAM, instant friend. I hope you enjoy visiting with us today. We'd love to answer any questions you may have. So, go to the comments and let them fly. You may even win a drawing from the names we'll be putting in the hat. And now, Heeeeerrrreeee's Tena

Tena welcome to 2HOOTS and my campfire. Well the camp fridge hasn't let me down yet.

I love to camp. Our RV is a 38 foot Durango Gold fifth wheel. My favorite place so far is Rocky Mountain National Park. So many things to see and do. Beautiful landscape and trails.

Tada! Here's your float. Oh, I can't wait to see the Rockies. Any pictures I've seen have been gorgeous. I know you have lots of books but this is a new release which is exciting.
A WITCH’S QUANDARY. Secondary character, Gale, popped into A Magic Redemption (5th book in A Demon's Witch Series) the niece of powerful witch, Erin, and her husband King of the Faries, Tiarnan, in Ireland. She had an established apothecary business when she met Dillon from a prestigious family in Scotland. He is the son of the head of a prominent law firm in Scotland that had stood for over 100 years. Reputation impeccable. But treachery and desire for power undermined the family's long standing firm. How could I not tell her story? That's how A Witch's Quandary came to be.

Exciting, I can't wait to read it. Now it’s his nightmare. Called back to Scotland, his father demands he take his rightful place in the business or be disowned and disinherited. But something is terribly amiss in the firm and family.
During Gale and Dillon’s investigation, they discover the enforcer for the Demon Overlord is also delving into rumors of the firm’s illegal activities. If Gale and Dillon want a life together in Ireland, they have to unearth the secrets that threaten to destroy Dunlop Law and his family in Scotland.

More About Tena!
Tena Stetler is a best selling, award winning author of paranormal romance. She has an over-active imagination, which led to writing her first vampire romance as a tween to the chagrin of her mother and delight of her friends. After many years as a paralegal, then an IT Manager, she decided to live out her dream of pursuing a publishing career.
With the Rocky Mountains outside her window, she sits at her computer surrounded by a wide array of witches, shapeshifters, demons, faeries, and gryphons, with a Navy SEAL or two mixed in telling her their tales. Her books tell stories of magical kick-ass women and mystical alpha males that dare to love them. Well, okay there are a few companion animals to round out the tales.
Colorado is home; shared with her husband of many moons, a brilliant Chow Chow, a spoiled parrot and a forty-five-year-old box turtle. When she’s not writing, you can find her kayaking, camping, hiking, biking or just relaxing in the great Colorado outdoors.
Are You Following Me? You Should Be! We were on the road early and had a great travel day. Sun shone, temp perfect, dog loaded and off we went destination Florida. We stopped for two night because hey, we're retired now and can take our time. Pete is our main driver and he likes to do about 6 to 7 hours to the destination. That said, I do drive 2Hoots. I'm good for a couple of hours on the interstate or non-city routes.
St. Petersburg/ Madera Beach KOA was our goal. We had a lovely spot on the bayou. The view was great and the campground clean. While I went to the conference in Tampa, Pete and Hali hosted friends from the area. Shout out to Allen and Eva and
We enjoyed great weather but here's a tip. If you are hitting the road in the summer and can afford an awning sunscreen do it. We bought a fairly inexpensive one and had it delivered to the KOA. At least half of the time when camping you'll be a catching afternoon sun and it gets pretty hot.

One of the things I enjoy most about the lifestyle is catching up with family and friends who live in other parts of the country. My Brooklyn cousins moved to St. Augustine years ago and we haven't seen them since. So, of we went to Bobby and Kat who not only live there but they are campers too. We went to out to dinner and the next day to their house which is on a canal. We all enjoyed the boat ride, including Hali. Guess what you get another tip make sure when you apply sunscreen you get all the spots.

Georgia was our next stop. We have a map of the USA stuck to the inside of 2Hoots door. Each time we drop the landing gear, I get to put a sticker for that state on the map. Pete won't let me cheat. I think if we pass through we should get to claim it. He's such a stickler for rules. But Georgia was where I purchased my National Senior Park Pass. Tip if you like to travel and visit sites, this is a must have. Yes, it cost $80, but it's good forever and we already have nearly broke even. You get in and can bring up to three guests. So save your pennies and invest in it. Next trip here we're going to try for Jekyll Island campground. This is a very cool place.

I mentioned visiting, right? South Carolina here we come. One of Pete's besties lives there. Rod and his son Jonathan met us for lunch. We'd stopped at one restaurant but it was outside seating only and the day was a scorcher. So we moved to a different spot and it was so worth it. Anyone who knows my DH knows he loathes veggies. I know, I know but what can you do? Well get this. I got him to try Okra and he liked it. (Okay, it was fried but...) He also had a BLT with Avocado! And did I mention this KOA has a wine bar? I didn't! Well it does. This was Pete's top campground. Not because of how well maintained it is. It is. Not for the pool. It's a nice one. But for the people working there. An amazing crew of KOA Work Kampers. Not only that, but it has a Tardis. Not really but I can pretend. It's a Little Library. Tip look around you and you'll be amazed at the whimsy

Bet you can't guess where we went next? (Rolling my eyes). North Carolina. We got to sit in the big chair, visited two more wineries. We tried to get into Wilmington and also to do the river walk. Unfortunately, the traffic and construction in the area was not conducive to parking Pete's truck. What's a girl to do? Get thee to another winery or two, that's what. We picked up a few bottles, hung out chatting with other patrons. One of the nicest things is that many of these places are dog friendly. If you know me you know I love cooking over the fire. So I had a piece of salmon. (Pete doesn't eat fish either) Well we built a fire. I broke out my cast iron pan and got the oil screaming hot. Went to place the salmon in. Dropped it into the pan and yep splattered my legs. Still healing. I'll never be a leg model anyway. Tip- be careful.

Next up, Virginia. Not the first time camping here and definitely not our last time. With so much to see and do, you won't be disappointed. This was the highlight of my trip. Since a young girl I've been a horse fanatic. My first horse was Cocoa, followed by Carrie, and eventually Apache. Apache reminded me most of the Ponies of Assateague. We stayed on Chincoteague Island which in itself is wonderful, but this is where we used the park pass the most. There was a great lighthouse too. Tip- visit the places of your dreams.

Last but not least was Massey's Landing Campground in Delaware. This was a resort camping ground. I can't tell you how many golf cart were there but at times it felt like I was at NASCAR as they went round and round. We enjoyed playing cornhole with our neighbors, time in the pool and even met one of my fans.

Home base in NJ was waiting for us and here's your last tips though maybe it's an observation. What can I get for you? The camp fridge is like wishing stone. Ask and it appears. Coffee (expresso). But only in the morning (can’t speak before I have some). The rest of the day, Crystal Light lemonade or water.

I used to own a Specialty Coffee shop called Heavenly Brew and even went to Philadelphia to become a barista. So, guess what-bam-espresso it is. Are you or have you camped?
I went camping as a girl scout in 9th grade (we went to Nantucket); fun, but too many mosquitos! Growing up, my family had a cabin in the backyard which my father named Camp Woofleboo. I had lots of sleepovers there with friends. I still remember Carol Bozzo telling a ghost story that kept us up all night listening for trouble with every creak of the floor. Pretty cool to have your own camp in the backyard!

It sure is! And what a great name Camp Woofleboo, lol. Tell us about your latest project. What's the title and anything else you'd like to share about it.
My latest project is HOME WATERS, a mix of family, romance, and environmental suspense. Becket Fallon, a world-famous oceanographer, discovers a lethally-invasive toxic algae in Narragansett Bay. He’s trying to figure out a way to stop it from decimating the bay when non-profit expert Lainey Carmichael arrives demanding his help with 3-year-old twin girls. The book is the story of what happens next. I wrote the first draft many years ago, but put it aside and worked on five other projects. A couple years ago I took the book back out, reworked it completely, and published it at the end of 2020. It’s a finalist for two National Excellence in Romance Fiction Awards (best first book and best Mainstream with Romantic Elements). 25% of royalties go to Save the Bay.

Sounds wonderful and congratulations. Do you have something else you’re working on?
I’m working on Book 2 of my Narragansett Bay Series; the main character of that book was part of the supporting cast in HOME WATERS.

Do you have a tagline?
"Stories with a Waterview”

Who are your inspirations for writing? Or would you like to give a shout-out to anyone or their books?
I love to mix suspense and romance. Nora Robert’s Chesapeake series inspired me, but my books have environmental suspense as my own twist. I’m inspired by the ocean and stories related to it, so all my books have the ocean as a key element.

Life Hacks for Authors. Do you have any tips, tricks, or anything you specialize in that you would share with others?
My friends call me the “Research Queen” and research is a key part of my process. For HOME WATERS, I contacted oceanographers at the Univ. of RI Graduate School of Oceanography and they helped brainstorm my suspense plot. Even in fiction, getting the specifics right is crucial.

Research is so important and things change quickly so an author needs to stay up to date. Now the fun questions

Do you have a special object like a piece of jewelry or keepsake of some sort? Can you tell us what makes it special to you? I have a lapis lazuli pendant. My college ring has lapis in it, and I’ve always loved the bright blue stone. Egyptian friends helped me barter for the stone in the market in Cairo, then I had it made into a pendant in Turkey. Note: This pendant appears in HOME WATERS.

Years ago, there was a commercial that talked about a “Kodak Moment.” It’s a moment in time you catch in a picture. One you never want to forget. What is yours? I actually saw something so absurd that I chased after it and got the photo, which is on my wall. I was in a market in southeastern Turkey when I saw a donkey go by carrying a television set, with two boys on either side keeping the TV in place. The juxtaposition of ancient and modern was truly irresistible (photo attached).

What weird talent do you have? As long as I do it fairly soon, I can remember hours of conversation and repeat it back word for word.

Worst household chore? I really hate washing floors.

If you could time travel, where would you go and when? Why? Ancient Egypt (but not to stay). I’m fascinated by the pyramids and my trip to Egypt was my favorite trip ever.

What’s the most amazing natural occurrence you’ve witnessed? In Turkey, there’s a Roman settlement on top of a cliff called Pamukale (Cotton Castle). The hot springs on the top of the cliff are in chalk pools; the chalk constantly dribbles over the cliff, creating a mass of white all down the Cliffside (looks like a giant Santa’s beard). Astonishing.

Elizabeth shared some of her pictures

Home Waters
by
Elizabeth Devlin
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MHGWFCG

In a second-chance story with a waterview, a famed oceanographer and a non-profit expert—linked by two little girls—fight environmental disaster and their own demons.

He has a deep hole in his heart …can his fight to protect the ocean fill it?

Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island: World-famous oceanographer Becket Fallon plunged himself into work after his son’s death.
